Dr. Manan Mehta is a board-certified hematologist
and oncologist with more than a decade of experience in community oncology practice, clinical leadership, and program development. He completed medical
school at Government Medical College in Surat, India, followed by internal medicine residency at Charles Drew University and fellowship training in hematology and oncology at UCLA Olive View Ceders-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Mehta is the founder of Virginia Oncology Care, where he built and expanded a comprehensive hematology-oncology program serving patients across the region. His career has included leadership roles focused on expanding access to high-quality cancer care, launching clinical research programs, and developing state-of-the-art treatment centers.
Dr. Mehta will be working in conjunction with a team of oncology experts around the country at institutions like Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and Sloan Kettering to bring expertise on all cancer types to the comfort of Jefferson County. Outside of work, Dr. Mehta enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. He also values spending quality time with friends and family between home renovation projects.
