Dr. Christopher Hogan provides comprehensive critical surgical care for men and women in Augusta and surrounding counties. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology (with a minor in chemistry) from Berry College. He spent nearly a year researching molecular biology and neuroanatomy at Colorado State University, before enrolling at the Mercer University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree.
He completed his internal medicine internship, a general surgery residency, and surgical critical care fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Hogan will do appropriate cases at Jefferson Hospital, but offers minimally invasive surgeries, including all complex hernia and colorectal surgery, at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.
